This update was another big one, and three's the charm, so things are feeling pretty warm, maybe even fuzzy, here at MONDOheadquarters.

Then we realized, it's October.

It's October and I haven't had to wear a scarf yet. Not even at night! What the hell, nature?

So we got a little nervous about the warmth.

But we still updated. Because we know it's only a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder. MONDO is cool enough to compensate global warming, we're sure of it.

Well, the leaves are falliing despite the 30C weather, half the staff are back  at some kind of school, and my allergies have kicked in.

So on this, our first update of the fall, Miles and I would like to send a loud thank you to all the editors who disappeared and thankfully came back!

So go read what they dug up over the summer. These articles are just a taste of what's to come this fall, especially if Alex watches as much TV as he's threatening.

But aside from returning us to our naturally sedentary lifestyles, autumn brings a few other treats: Thanksgiving, Hallowe'en, and, of course, CANZINE.

Yes, MONDO will be at Canzine again this year, this time with more swag than ever! Come by the table, meet the section editors, give them a piece of your mind, and take home a little portable piece of MONDO to show all your friends and family.

Till then, though, we'll see you online.

Nothing is better than that warm feeling at the end of a good update. Sitting, browsing through the new articles, oggling the pretty pictures, Miles and I know we've done good.

This week, the good includes NOT ONLY a wicked review of Superbad and a more ... thorough examination of Transformers, but an in-depth interview with Joey Comeau of webcomic fame, and the return en-force of both Music and TV&VG with opinions galore! And, reliably, the good Doctor doles out advice, and Amy Lam does a probing interview in Arts.

So yeah. Awesome all over the place! It feels great to see such a big update, and we're sure you're thrilled to have your four-day work-week lunches all booked with MONDO-reading.
But if you get through it all before Friday, take a second and drop us a note? We know you have lots of opinions too - and we're just dying to hear what you think!

Seriously.

rstevens suggested using livejournal as a newsfeed and extra-content zone, and we at MONDO are all about more free content, so we're really going to do this!

Now, if you've got a livejournal then get in on the action by joining. If you don't, just get in on the action by commenting! It's all excellent.

Make some noise, MONDOlovers, we've been aching to hear you!
